Electronic Resources

The KU Libraries provides access to a variety of resources in electronic format, including:

  • journals, and articles in journals, magazines, and newspapers;
  • indexes and other reference works;
  • databases;
  • thousands of U.S. and other government publications

A number of means exist for indentifying and accessing these electronic resources. In addition to the resources available through the Libraries Electronic Resources webpage, the KU Online catalog also provides direct access to electronic resources via an Internet link. The KU Online Catalog. can be searched by title, subject (e.g. environmental chemistry, sociology), and keywords (e.g. family AND planning), and is the primary means of accessing electronic government documents.
